U13 Hockey v. Latymer Upper School.
Player of the Match, Emily Whittaker (8G), reports: “We started off with a strong first half, passing the ball out wide to give us a good advantage of getting the ball to our attacking half. We had some good opportunities to score but unfortunately we had a few unlucky attempts.
Eva Filose had a great match; she was able to dribble the ball along the side line, battling with the ball while the other team tried to tackle.
Anna Marlow and Lani Davies played extremely well in attack and provided lots of space.
Unfortunately we let in two goals during the game, but we kept our heads up and stopped more getting in. Maya made a fantastic save to prevent a third goal being scored against us.
Final score, 2-0 to Latymer Upper.”
