1st VII Netball v. JAGS
After a very successful season, SDC had their final 1st team match against JAGS.
Despite the cold weather all the girls were optimistic and excited to get started. Georgia Neblett introduced herself to the opposition and successfully won the toss - this is always a big advantage in netball and creates a strong mental start.
The first five minutes were played at a fast pace and several SDC goals were scored one after the other, barely letting JAGS become involved. However during the last few minutes in the first quarter, the girls gave away too many free/penalty passes which resulted in JAGS scoring and the quarter finished 4-4.
Throughout the remaining three quarters SDC were able to increase their goal difference and progressively took the lead. SDC finished the game with a 17-11 win.
All the girls played well and represented the College positively in the last game of the season.
