Sixth Form

"I really enjoyed my time in the Sixth Form and would recommend it to anyone!"
James, now studying English at Nottingham University

Life in the Sixth Form at St Dunstan’s College is fulfilling, challenging and fun, with students opting to study either AS and A Levels or the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma.

Numbers in the Sixth Form are split fairly evenly between boys and girls. Newcomers – both girls and boys - regularly join the Sixth Form from other schools and all are made to feel extremely welcome in the Sixth Form Common Room by St Dunstan’s GCSE graduates and by teachers and tutors.

Sixth Form students benefit from:
  • High quality teaching
  • Small tutor groups
  • Outstanding pastoral care
  • Immense programme of visits and field trips

Effective careers advice

The Sixth Form Common Room is an important meeting place. Ideas such as fashion shows, theatre productions, charity fundraisers, sports challenges with teachers and the Sixth Form Ball have all been hatched and developed there in the past.

Sixth Formers are not asked to wear uniform but are expected to dress smartly in business suits.
