St Dunstan's 2021

Building an Ambitious Future

The Stanstead Road site is currently undergoing its most significant redevelopment since our Foundation in 1888. Fully funded, through a combination of reserves and borrowing, and due for completion in April 2021, we are transforming the west side of the College, building and architecturally stunning new Junior School, Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) block, and Sixth Form Centre.

There three projects which we would love to complete by September 2021, whilst we still have contractors on site:

Project 1 - The Performing Arts Centre (PAC) to be built on the footprint of the current Design and Technology workshops and Science Block;

Project 2 - The Plaza where a parade square for the CCF will double up as an outdoor  performance venue;

Project 3 - The Sport and Leisure Centre which will be enhanced as well as expanded with the relocation of Fives.

How you can support

All donations, large or small, are precious  and meaningful regardless of the amount. You can give in a number of ways:

You can MAKE A LIFETIME DONATION which can take the form of:

  • a single donation by cheque, electronic transfer or by debit or credit card;
  • a regular donation by Direct Debit: your contribution added to others can make a significant difference to the College. By way of example, 50 donors giving £20.21 monthly for 2 years will raise £37,315 (including gift aid).
  • employee match funding scheme: many organisations offer match funding schemes as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility Programme, whereby the employer matches the amount you donate by an equal value of donation.

You can also MAKE A LEGACY:

Some members of our wider community are at the stage in life when they begin to consider what their final legacy will be.

Once family and friends are appropriately remembered, thoughts often turn to charities and institutions which have a special place in a person's life. For many, the years spent at school are some of the most significant and life-changing times. This is particularly true at St Dunstan's College where  there is a vibrant web of Dunstonians interconnected in a whole range of different ways. Pledging a legacy provides you with the chance to make a charitable gift in your Will which has no cost to you during your lifetime.

We would recommend you contact your solicitor to either draft your Will or a Codicil to your existing Will.

St Dunstan's Educational Foundation Charity number is 3112747. For any question, please email development@sdmail.org.uk.
