Teaching Opportunities
Junior School Learning Support Coordinator
St Dunstan’s College is seeking to recruit an outstanding Learning Support Coordinator, who will join a well-established and experienced SEND team, led by the whole-College SENDCo. This position is ideal for a HLTA or specialist Teaching Assistant who is ambitious and looking to progress within a supportive, strong and successful SEND team. The successful candidate will be both organised and enthusiastic, with some experience working with pupils with a variety of SEND in a school or educational setting including the delivery of high quality interventions, as well as demonstrating excellent knowledge of access arrangements for examinations. We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate excellence working within a team, as well as the ability to adapt and respond proactively to the needs of pupils, parents and staff and demonstrate a collaborative approach when working with others. The College is able to assist and support with further professional development opportunities and coaching is readily available; the successful candidate should be looking to grow as part of this dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be able to encourage and advise teachers whilst maintaining the highest standards of collaborative and collegial practice.
The Junior School Learning Support Coordinator will coordinate SEND provision within the Junior School. They will work collaboratively with the Junior School teachers and teaching assistants, to encourage the appropriate implementation of strategies within the classroom. They will collaborate with staff within the SEND and pastoral teams to ensure that those pupils with individual needs, both pastoral and academic, are given sufficient consideration and have access to a variety of strategies which reflect the wide range of support mechanisms available. The Junior School Learning Support Coordinator will be based in the Junior School and will be supported and guided by the College SENDCo, whilst also having access to some administrative support.

Support Staff Opportunities
Development Manager
St Dunstan’s College is looking for a professional, motivated and energetic self-starter to help us develop the College’s fundraising and alumni relations activity. The new role of Development Manager has been created at an exciting time for St Dunstan’s, as we work to consolidate our fundraising and alumni programmes within a new development strategy.
We have engaged a number of influential alumni to form the school’s first Development Campaign Board and we have a clear direction and priorities for fundraising. Working as part of a small and energetic team, you will build on this momentum as well as having the chance to bring your own initiative, drive and skills to the role.

Junior School After School Care Assistant
Part-Time, Term-Time Only
After School Care: 1500-1800 (prepared to remain in school in the rare case of late parent arrival)
St Dunstan’s College Junior School is looking to recruit an ambitious and creative After School Care Assistant to join our dynamic team to oversee our popular and in-demand wraparound care provision, situated in our brand new, state-of-the art Junior School building. This position would be an ideal opportunity for a candidate considering a future career in education, particularly a graduate seeking school experience ahead of teacher or teaching assistant training.
The successful applicant will provide supervision and support in all aspects of running our wraparound provision, working within a small team of staff to meet the needs and interests of all our children in attendance. Excellent communication skills and a flexible approach are required, with the ability to use initiative and think creatively about new and engaging activities for children from Nursery to Year 6.

Art & Design Technician
The College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, organised and creative Art & Design Technician. The successful applicant will be part of a well-established and experienced team reporting to the Head of Department, as well as working closely with the art teacher sand students. Main responsibilities will be in the smooth running of the logistical and practical day to day operations of the department and the maintaining of organised, safe, and welcoming art classrooms.
The department is growing and expanding and the successful applicant will participate in the vision for its upgrades, development and marketing.

Facilities Assistant
The College wishes to appoint a Facilities Assistant to join our existing Property team. Reporting to our Head of Domestic Services. The successful applicant will be part of a team responsible for site security, assist with on-site parking, event and room setups, minor maintenance tasks, assist with health and safety compliance checks, act as a fire warden in emergencies and mail distribution. The successful applicant should be self-motivated, enthusiastic and hold a full, clean driving licence.
Working Hours: Flexible shift pattern with occasional evening & weekend work.

Grounds Assistant
The College wishes to appoint a skilled Grounds Person with experience of pitch preparation, as well as general day to day grounds maintenance. The post holder will be enthusiastic, hardworking and will assist our existing grounds team ensuring the College’s playing fields, sports pitches and peripheral areas are maintained to the highest level throughout the year. Applicants should ideally have prior experience of grounds work and pitch maintenance and should hold a current driving licence. This role requires a commitment to high standards of work and a ‘can do’ attitude to all tasks, as well as a love of working outdoors, in all weathers!
Working hours: 0730 - 1630 with occasional weekend and evening attendance at College events.

Human Resources Administrator
The Human Resources (HR) Department at St Dunstan's College provides a highly effective and efficient administrative function to all staff, including the provision of guidance and support on key employment issues such as; recruitment and selection, pay and restructuring, employee relations, learning and development, employee benefits and absence management.
We are looking for an HR Administrator to support the department with inputting of employee data into internal databases and the update / maintenance of employee records and HR documents. Our ideal candidate has an organised and systematic approach, an eye for detail and can juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner.

Duty Manager - Leisure Centre
The College is looking for a professional, motivated and energetic self-starter to join our team of Duty Managers who support the management of the College's Sports and Leisure Centre.
The successful candidate will be part of the St Dunstan's Enterprises team (SDE) offering support to the curriculum by providing lifeguarding cover, to oversee the swimming pool’s plant operations and liaise with contractors, to ensure planned maintenance is completed appropriately and all chemical and cleaning stock orders are in place.
