GCSE DAY 2019

Celebrating GCSE Success

St Dunstan's College is celebrating GCSE success with its Year 11 students today.

18% of all students achieved straight 7 – 9 grades (equivalent to A-A*) with 7 students attaining 8 or 9 (A*) in every subject taken. Over 400 grades were awarded 7-9, making us all the more excited about the huge potential of this year group as they begin their A-Level journeys.

We are proud of the determination and hard work shown by our students throughout their public examinations and look forward to seeing them continue with their diverse academic and co-curricular interests while also taking on more significant leadership responsibility in the school as part of the Sixth Form at St Dunstan’s.

Aqil Mushtaq, who achieved 8 grade 9s, 1 A* and an 8 said: “I’m thrilled with my results and it’s been an enjoyable morning.”

Lucia Lallana, who achieved 10 GCSEs at grade 7-9 said: “I’m really pleased with my GCSE results, it’s been a busy few years and I am looking forward to going into St Dunstan’s Sixth Form to study Biology, Latin, French and Mathematics.”

Denise Spigler, who achieved all grades 8-9 in 10 subjects said: “I’m pleased with my GCSE results and I am looking forward to the next steps.”
