We believe that passion and potential, not gender, determine sporting success.

Our sporting provision at St Dunstan's Junior School is truly inclusive and gender neutral.

Every pupil leaves confident in their physical abilities, with a solid understanding of how to care for their physical and mental health, having had the opportunity to discover a sport where they can thrive.

Our achievements speak for themselves: recent highlights include winning the U11 Lewisham School Games hockey, U10 London School Hockey champions, and exceptional swimming success with U11 Lewisham winners, multiple London Schools medals, and five swimmers ranked in the top 20 nationally at the Independent Association of Prep Schools event.

Both boys' and girls' football teams have reached a combined total of 12 finals in the past two years, while our cross-country teams have triumphed in recent years, with 10 pupils representing Lewisham at the London Youth Games. Every Prep pupil competes in fixtures annually, contributing to an impressive 120 fixtures in one year alone.

Beyond competition, all children learn to swim weekly from Reception, building lifelong swimming confidence.

Our facilities, designed to support a wide range of sports, are among the best, nurturing talent across disciplines including netball, rugby, orienteering, and even ballroom dancing, with pupils competing at national and international levels.

Whether in competitive fixtures or friendly matches, we ensure every child experiences the joy of sport and the pride that comes with achievement.
