We were delighted to host our Year 13 Diploma Graduation recently, celebrating our incredible Year 13s and their achievements during their time at St Dunstan’s.

Year 13 began their day with a very 'special' assembly hosted by Head of Sixth Form Mr Brewer, which generated lots of laughs, and gave students a chance to reflect on how much they have changed since they began their journey with us.

They then enjoyed a graduation ceremony in the College’s Great Hall, in which we were honoured to welcome Dunstonian Professor Nils McGuiness Hoppe (’96) as our distinguished guest speaker. Nils is a Professor in Ethics and Law in the Life Sciences at the University of Hannover, and used his speech to remind Year 12 students of the importance of challenging unfairness that they may encounter in their adult lives.

The students then enjoyed a special celebration followed by party games in the Sixth Form Centre alongside their peers, families and teachers, whose support has been so crucial in their journey with the school.

Graduation was, as always, a bittersweet moment for our students, as they reflected on their individual journeys with St Dunstan’s, and looked towards the varied opportunities that they will be pursuing next year.
