St Dunstan’s College has been commended for ‘London Independent School of the Year’ as part of the prestigious awards scheme.

The Independent Schools of the Year Awards celebrate the very best of the British independent sector and the standout experiences independent schools offer their pupils.

This commendation is a testament to the hard work and efforts of all our students and staff, whose dedication to excellence is truly inspirational. It is also reflective of St Dunstan’s place as a celebrated leader within the London independent sector.

We see London as a living classroom and creative laboratory, with our students performing, debating, researching and learning in some of the capital’s most significant spaces from the Royal Festival Hall to City Hall and the Science Gallery. We are proud to be deeply embedded in our diverse Lewisham community.

Finalists for the Awards are to be announced in September, with a glittering awards ceremony to be held on 14 October.

Earlier this year, St Dunstan’s College was awarded the ‘Academic Achievement Excellent Award’ and ‘Best Independent School for Sporting Development – London’ by the LUXLife Private Education Awards 2026. Previous accolades have also included ‘Most Progressive Independent School – London’ at the 2025 Private Education Awards, ‘Diversity and Inclusion in Sport’ at the Education Choices Magazine Awards 2024 and Tes ‘Independent Senior School of the Year’ 2022.
