St Dunstan's wins two awards at the Private Education Awards 2026

St Dunstan’s College has been awarded the ‘Academic Achievement Excellence Award’ and ‘Best Independent School for Sporting Development – London’.

The Private Education Awards, organised by LUXLife magazine, shine a spotlight on schools that demonstrate exceptional leadership, innovation, and dedication to student success in the independent sector.

Speaking about the news, Head of Senior School, Jade McLellan, said: “These awards are a testament to the remarkable successes achieved by our students at St Dunstan’s, both academic and co-curricular. We pride ourselves in offering a broad and varied curriculum to our students, and in encouraging them to pursue excellence in their passions and interests, wherever these may lie.”

On the Academic Achievement Excellence Award, she said: “This award recognises the significant academic progress that our school has made in recent years, including our 2025 GCSE and A Level results, which were the best in the College’s 138-year history.”

Speaking about the Sporting Development Award, Assistant Head Co-Curricular, Danny Gower, said: “We are incredibly proud of our sporting community. This award recognises the collective effort behind everything we do – from the ambition of our students to the expertise and care of the wonderful staff who support them.”

In 2025 St Dunstan’s was named the ‘Most Progressive Independent School’ in London in the Private Education Awards for the third year in a row, firmly establishing the school's place as a leader within the independent sector. Previous accolades also include ‘Diversity and Inclusion in Sport’, Education Choices Magazine Awards 2024 and Tes ‘Independent Senior School of the Year’ 2022.
