During the October Exeat, a group of our Year 10 and 11 students visited Paris, France. The trip to the famous French capital was a fantastic blend of language learning and cultural discovery. Each morning, students took part in immersive French lessons with a native speaker, building their confidence and communication skills in real-life contexts. Afternoons were filled with a variety of enriching activities that brought Parisian culture to life.

Highlights included creating custom scents during a perfume workshop at the Musée Fragonard, experiencing an immersive VR tour of Notre Dame, and admiring breathtaking views of the Eiffel Tower from the top of the Arc de Triomphe. Students also enjoyed exploring the charming streets of the Marais district, a relaxing boat cruise along the Seine aboard the Bateaux Mouches, and a fascinating guided tour of the Musée Rodin sculpture garden, expertly led by Mr Bush.

The trip was a perfect mix of education and enjoyment, leaving students inspired and with a deeper appreciation for French language and culture.
