St Dunstan's Kitchen

St Dunstan’s College is delighted to work alongside the fantastic team at Holroyd Howe to provide a high quality catering service for pupils, staff and visitors.

Holroyd Howe operate solely within the independent school’s market, focusing on fresh food, nutrition and innovation, whilst providing a tailored experience for pupils, staff and visitors.

Menus are designed specifically to provide nutritious food for our pupils, in order to maximise their achievements in so many areas of College life.

Holroyd Howe’s chefs take pride in sourcing and using the best seasonal, local produce available. The dedicated team create exciting menus which include traditional favourites, international dishes, healthy and sustainable options; supported by supplier road shows and regular interactive workshops.

Each day there is a varied salad bar, to support the hot options available, which includes a variety of protein, compound and simple salads with dressings and condiments served on the side. In the winter months soup is offered, in addition to the variety of hot meals available. Pasta and jacket potatoes also feature on the menus and fruit is available at all mealtimes.

The catering team works closely with the school to ensure that the nutritional needs, allergies, dietary requirements, preferences and desires of all pupils are consistently and thoughtfully met. Regular feedback is encouraged, either through the College Parliament or the refectory suggestion cards.

Our pupils are encouraged to try new foods, Holroyd Howe provide age-appropriate tasting tables and theme days, which attract even the fussiest of eaters to try something new!

If you have any suggestions or feedback please do not hesitate to contact us via the Director of Administrative Services and Events, Miss Teresa Beard (tbeard@stdunstans.org.uk)

The school’s ethos supports leaders in creating a strong community where diversity is celebrated.
