Opening for Junior School temporary building

We were absolutely delighted to open our new Junior School temporary building on Monday 2 September.

The building, which will house Years 4-6, marks the exciting first stage our future ahead of the new building opening in 2020.

Headmaster Mr Hewlett, Bursar Mrs Wilkins, Acting Head of Junior School Miss Whitwood all attended the ceremony, which saw a ribbon cut by the new Junior Head Boy, Aidan, and Head Girl, Emily.

Speaking about the new build, Miss Whitwood said: 'The Junior School staff have been busy in recent weeks getting it ready and seeing the children smiling and happy in their bright new classrooms was the icing on the cake!

'Well done to our new Head Boy and Head Girl who led the countdown and cut the ribbon (held beautifully in place by Mr Hewlett and Mrs Wilkins) for the grand opening. Thank you to the College Chaplain for blessing the new building for us before the pupils took their very first step inside.'
