St Dunstan’s College Theatre is a vital creative hub not just for our students, but for the wider local community.

Each year, the theatre hosts 20+ performances, all accessible to the public, alongside rehearsals, workshops and community-led activity. From professional-standard productions to community celebrations, this is a space where creativity, confidence and connection come alive.

We are now seeking support to complete the theatre’s original technical vision and unlock its full potential.

Our vision is to complete what we had initially designed the space for, before the funding ran out and the technical installation could be fully completed.

All cabling for professional lighting systems was installed, but only part of the lighting rig. Cabling for a show relay system is in place, but the essential equipment was never added. This means the foundations are there, and we now need investment to finish the job.

We have carried out several “discreet” capital projects in recent years which have been donor led by generous alumni.

The new commemorative plaque which was installed at the front of the College in August 2024 reminding us all of our links with the City of London where the College originates from, is one such example.

Parents, Staff and Alumni are also warmly welcome to leave a mark in our Theatre which was built on the footprint of the original Woodwork labs from 1888.

As you all know, St Dunstan's has an impressive track record in staging inspiring and memorable live performances over its long history. Maybe you too will be tempted to celebrate your family's part in the life of the school or perhaps mark your own passion for theatre and performance?

By sponsoring a seat or becoming a performance sponsor, you will be supporting a first-class resource that inspires and enthuses Dunstonian students for years to come. Our theatre is also be a resource for professional, amateur and community groups, a hub for workshops, live-streaming and inspiring live shows. There are also options to sponsor the theatre's lighting, staging and backstage areas such as make-up and costume.

Whatever you choose, you can be sure that you will be playing your own part in ensuring the very best of the performing arts at St Dunstan's.
