At St Dunstan’s Senior School, we see sport as far more than physical activity - it is a powerful opportunity to shape, inspire, and empower our students.

On the field, in the pool, or on the court, students discover how they respond to challenge and pressure, how to collaborate with teammates, respect opponents, and embrace the culture in which they compete. Sport here is about more than winning; it is about freedom, creativity, and resilience - skills and confidence that transfer seamlessly into academic life and beyond.

Our inclusive Sport and Exercise Science Curriculum  is designed for every student, recognising the crucial role that sport plays in developing character, wellbeing, and a healthy, balanced lifestyle. Delivered by a team of specialists, the curriculum offers a broad, contemporary programme, enriched by an extensive co-curricular pathway.

Every student represents St Dunstan’s in our core sports: football, hockey, swimming, netball, and cricket.

Students also have many opportunities to compete at local, regional, and national level.

Our pioneering gender-neutral approach to sport ensures all students enjoy equal access and opportunity, allowing them to pursue their passions without boundaries.

Partnership with Chelsea FC

We are proud of our groundbreaking partnership with Chelsea FC, which provides Senior School students with an exceptional range of opportunities — from expert coaching and player development to unique sporting experiences that inspire ambition and broaden horizons.

This collaboration adds another dimension to our already dynamic sports programme.

Aspiring Athlete Pathway (AAP)

For those with exceptional talent, our Aspiring Athlete Pathway (AAP) provides holistic, tailored support to help them achieve their potential. From advanced coaching to specialist guidance, the programme nurtures ambition while safeguarding wellbeing.

Whether competing for the College, discovering new passions, or pursuing elite performance, every student finds their place in sport at St Dunstan’s — starting a lifelong journey of activity, enjoyment, and personal growth.
